A Korean kid in my computer class introduced me to Jow Forums in 2006 during my senior year of high school. Jow Forums didn't exist, most of the political shitposting took place in /new/ though I don't really remember if /new/ was a thing at that time because I came here as a /b/ tard and to look at porn as a horny teenager. I didn't start reading anything political on here until roughly 2008.
I'm 30, and in the time I've been on here I graduated college, found a girl, got into a good career, got married, bought a house, bought some cars, had a son. At some point I stopped 100% edgy shitposting and decided to make effort posts in certain threads. Don't get me wrong, I still post satirically a huge amount of the time, but from time to time I come across people I believe are genuine and I usually try to be respectful in return. I post in /o/, /tv/, /mu/, and read /v/ for laughs.
