Anyone here manage to quit?

Attached: cig.jpg (640x506, 107K)

I quit two years ago. The secret is just to stop. You might gain a little weight, but soon you will be able to run and be active. You feel SO MUCH HEALTHIER when you quit. The cravings never go away though.

Yeah. Shitposting from beyond the grave m8. Shit's a lot more interesting and fun over here.

Chew dried ginger, drink a lot of water and smoke pot. Avoid alcohol and cocaine

75? dude thats cancer territory. I smoke about 10 a day, half a pack. from what i've read the cancer rates in the amount I smoke are pretty much non-existent, but start when you smoke 2 packs+ per day.

Switch to snus. I used to smoke 12 cigs a day now i smoke zero, and I only snus 3-4 times a day. No cravings, no smell, no mood swings or desires. I've snused about 6 hours ago and I feel no desire for nicotine at all.

This just like they an addict is always an addict no matter how hard you try to quit the craving will always hunt you

Dude seriously seek clinical help or switch to snus and try it. 75 is literally at the edge of cancer. Also just how much money do you spend on cigs per day? When did you start7 smoking and how many years?

Ecig my dude. Buy a cheap one and get the highest nicotine content juice you can. Taper off the nicotine mg every time you go to buy juice. Limit drinking alcohol, coffee, energy drinks etc and you should be good. Lift weights or go on a run if that doesn't help. Don't go back to the tobacco jew. We're all gonna make it.

Also many of us know you make this thread every night but you neverr respond or answer to any of our suggestions or help. Why make these threads when all you're going to do is nothing? If you really want to quit take the step otherwise continue your habits but stop making these threads.

This shit left brown stains over my teeth that were a pain to get rid, rather just get gum or patch desu

Used to smoke a lot, now I'm down to ~12 a day. Nothing special, just quit my job.

Thats why I use Listerine and brush my teeth often. I haven't gotten any stains but maybe because I take care of my teeth well and I only snus 3 portions a day. In the end its still tobacco but its a much safer alternative to cigarettes.

I smoke half a pack a day (less now that I am quitting, vape all night, and chew nicorette gum when I am at work and not on a smoking break. I used to smoke a pack a day, dip, snus, and vape.

The best thing to do is eliminate the cancer causing chemicals. Nicotine isn't so bad, so gum and vaping is good.

Mike Enoch is based

Of course he is to you. Fucking HRT injecting kike.

>EVER smoking
>EVER drinking

>vape, gum, snus, smoke
Using multiple different products doesn't do any good regardless of reduction. Stick to one product and challenge yourself to hold it in longer before having another one.

Vape all day. Never felt better.

I've been smoking 1-2 a day for years lmao
how do you even get addicted

This. Get a Breeze 2 and a couple bottles of 50mg strength nic salts. Nic salts give you the same nicotine kick that cigs have. The Breeze 2 comes with a 0.6 and a 1.0 ohm coil. See which you prefer and order more. Mr. Salt-E is a nic salt brand that is popular. That should get you started. You'll never need another cigarette.
Good luck, user.

I smoke about 2 a day, used to be around 6. Than I started chewing. I like it better to be honest, but nothing beats a cigarette and a strong espresso in the morning.

I'm laughing so hard
please respond to me, it will be legendary

I did

1. Dont smoke light cigs
2. Some strong large cigs (Camel)
3. Learn how to actually smoke
>putting the smoke ONLY in your mouth is fucking gay
4. You must smoke it until it goes to your lungs
5. Smoke as much as possible
6. You will hate it after 1 year

I seriously was a heavy smoker, only till I went hardcore smoker, I got tired of it

Jow Forums is so subverted. It's like a big stream of bot threads over and over, once and a while there is a good thread that lasts an hour or so then it gets 404'd or sent to Jow Forums

Haha i knew fucking leafs would chew pouches.

Ya just stop. But first you have to stop being a weak faggot who can’t cope with life then maybe just maybe you can quit the cancer sticks.

This. This is my brand, also I get the mint ones too. We should kiss.

Yup. Smoked a pack a day for 9 years, went cold turkey and quit about 7 years ago. First couple of months were hardest and had occasional urges for years afterwards but it was definitely worth it. Never realized how shitty I felt until I quit smoking, never again. Simply not worth it.

Red Man and Copenhagen is the shit

Chew? Dude do you even know what snus is? Its not chewing or putting dried in your mouth. Its a packet of semi-moist tobacco that is usually mixed in with herbs and other stuff. Its like chew but way better, and it doesn't need to be spit out constantly. Its much safer and satisfying. Search Swedish snus you'll get it.

OP, talk to your doctor. Nicotine addiction is a bitch to recover from but there are drugs that can help.

I'll have quit for 3 years in September.

>this shill guy again

Damn son now I need a smoke

Can you tell us some of the benefits/changes that you experienced after quitting?
More energy? Any mental effects such as increased clarity or mood?

test

I went from 2 packs a day to vaping in 24 hours. I'm 2.5 years off the cancer sticks.

I started making my own vape juice, and it turned into a business. I sometimes make $1000 a week at peak periods in the summer. Quitting smoking turned into my job.

Try vaping. Forget how faggy it looks. It's the only thing that ever worked for me. I couldn't go back if I wanted.

great thread

haven't quit yet, these darn things sure are addicting huh?

How do you feel about Rip Trippers? Do you believe hes a scammer or a vape messiah? Used to watch his vids all the time when I used to vape for awhile. Informative but seemed very questionable.

Does anyone know where to buy menthol cigs online? I'm trying to quit crack and I think menthols would help.

vape you chucklefuck

im just getting into the hobby. im glad theres a thread going i was gonna start one on /b/ asking what brands and flavors to try.

can people recommend me their favorites? i hate menthols and love the taste of pure natural tobacco. so far i have tried:

natural american spirits orange:
>barely tastes like anything. tight hard draw, longer lasting, almost zero flavor, smooth and bland.

natural american spirits blue:
>decently long lasting, tight tough draw, light pepper with a bit of leather and horse saddle tobacco taste. i like them a lot so far. decent lasting buzz.

natural american spirits black:
>burn faster than orange and blue for some reason, draw is still somewhat tight. peppery, smokey, leathery. longer lasting buzz. great taste and my favorite american spirits so far

marlboro red:
>easy draw, burn real fast and dont last long, almost zero flavor, kind of ashy tasting, extraordinarily smooth, i can take a full puff into lungs without any discomfort unlike american spirits which definitely have more particulate matter and require a shallower inhale. barely any buzz. i thought these were supposed to be "macho man cowboy" strong

marlboro lights:
>easy draw, fast burn, smooth as hell, zero flavor. tiny buzz. ashy bland taste. bleh.

nat sherman classic:
>rich bold smell and taste, creamy, hints of chocolate, leather, saddle, and milk, pepper. strong buzz, fairly fast burning, skinnier than all other cigs ive tried so far. easy draw. great tasting and probably the strongest flavor of any cig ive had so far

dunhill black:
>very easy draw, mild, rich creamy smoke. hints of vanilla, chocolate, pepper, cashew, and leather. burn fairly fast. delicious and somewhat complex mild flavor composition. medium buzz. my second favorite cig by far

what else should i try and can you recommend anything decent? i wanna give parliaments a shot, also lucky strikes. what do you guys smoke?

Try local police station. Cops have trade-in menthol cigs for crack packs. You gotta bring in your cracks and scale and just walk to the station and ask for a trade in. Try it.

Please can someone give a good cig vendor site? I tried looking before and it all looks like scams to me.

I was being serious. I think menthol ban ruined my life.

>im just getting into the hobby.
Quit while you can. Its not worth it trust me. If you really do need that buzz then go for vape or alternative nicotine products. Stay out of tobacco man.

Attached: German_anti-smoking_ad.jpg (442x360, 36K)

So you're going to replace crack with another addictive drug? Nicotine is more addictive then crack-cocaine did you know that? Yes, crack is more harmful and deadly but tobacco is long term and it WILL give you cancer sooner or later. Get clinical help. In your case its rehab you need not replacement.

Get some green-tea cigs. They're about $3 a pack in burgerland and taste the same as a marlboro light. My wife gave me a couple to make a point about it being mental and she was right. The 0 nictotine tea-cigs tasted so similar to a real cig that I wouldn't have known it wasn't just a cheap cigarette had she not told me.

Point is, I smoked a pack a day for 11 years and i'm down to 2-3 smokes a day after a little more than a month. Nicotine craving is a bitch, but 1-2 real cigarettes a week is my next goal and I know I can do it.

i dont plan on making a habbit out of it, i just want to find the cig i really like so i can stick with that and smoke it occasionally. like 1 or 2 cigs a day max but more likely 1 or 2 a week when i go out on weekends. im just in research phase trying to find what i like. im usually not too fond of cigs, im more of a cigar guy. i like to do 1 or 2 cigars a month, some months i dont have one. its more of a special occasion for me. i dont want cancer or rotted teeth so i want to do it in extreme moderation.

it is a delightful guilty pleasure i would like to enjoy when the weather is nice and im in the mood

Yea, that slight buzz from a cig is definitely more addictive than the most powerful dopamine rush in the world... fuckin idiot.

Benefits included everything you mentioned actually. While smoking I felt like shit pretty much all the time but was so used to it over the years I only noticed after quitting. Had alot more energy afterwards simply from feeling better, with that my mood also improved. Could actually actively move around the whole day without being out of breath, gained enough weight to not being simply skin and bones.
Became alot mellower also, the constant urge for the next smoke kept me on the cusp of irritation pretty much permanently.
If you're quitting I'd suggest lollypops. A lot of them.

one sig can cause cancer so ur all doomd

Christ how do you have time to breathe?

>>Anyone here manage to quit?
It's been a year for me this month, it's miraculous too, and I'll tell you why...I live with a smoker and...there is a reservation about ten minutes from where I sit where cigarettes are 2.80 a pack.

>>i dont plan on making a habbit out of it, i just want to find the cig i really like so i can stick with that and smoke it occasionally. like 1 or 2 cigs a day max
Just use an e-cig you aren't just dealing with nicotine, there are other, equally addictive, or at least craving causing chemicals besides just nicotine, when I quit I used an E-cig for while (blu cherry) so I had nicotine, yet I was still craving a cigarette.

Holy fuck
Just stop and power through, you'll feel like shit for a while but it passes. Vaping's no better than smoking, you'll probably end up vaping more often since the hit is way less. Also I found it helped to hold a pen or something between my fingers as a cig replacement for some reason. I could go through all the benefits of not smoking but you know that shit already
