The board's decline in quality

Why did this board sharply declined in quality when this board became more mainstream? Pretty much a quarter of the threads in a day are mostly just slide threads or shill threads. Is it because a bunch T_D faggots cause this board become mainstream and thus ruin everything this board used to be? All I see nothing is /ptg/ threads, BBC threads, and off-topic threads and the mods are doing jack shit to do anything about it and it's if they don't even care about Jow Forums more.

Like I keep seeing shit like "Jow Forums HUMOUR THREAD LMAO XD" is one of the Prime examples of the board's sharp decline in quality and we are slowly turning into /b/ by the minute. Is there anything that we can do or do we have to abandon ship and go look something for something better?

The only thing that ruined Jow Forums was allowing memeflags.

Don't forget the (((Mods))) and their role on this board.

Because gook m00t ruined everything and so did m00t when he handed it over to gook m00t.
End of story start your own Chan.
But its pointless because ur just a faggot.
Fuck the mods that run this place.
Fuck the admins.
And most of all fuck you

Pretty hypocritical of you to make such a shit thread then

This

and this

I've been here since 2014 and this board has definitely declined, threads aren't informative or fun anymore.

I reckon the election caused it. It brought over a wave of cringe under18s and schizos.

Shills and disruptors were paid to divide the board so we'd be squabbling amongst ourselves in chaos unable to organize, thus neutralizing the board as a political entity. You think trump would have been elected without pol's concentrated memes? No, and people in the big leagues noticed and put a stop to it.
