Ethnicity vs Culture you were raised in

I am Greek, my parents are both Greek, my grandparents on both sides are Greek, my great-grandparents on both sides are Greek.

The problem is I do not like like a Mediterranean, neither do my parents, neither do my siblings, we're all pale, brown hair, green eyes, blue eyes, etc. I have sent off DNA test to check my actual ethnicity and I am prepared for it to come back and say we're not even Greek.

That said, if the DNA comes back and says we're not Greek...

>1. Do we stop talking Greek
>2. Do we stop practicing Greek traditions/religion/culture
>3. Do we stop calling ourselves Greek?

I can't call myself Greek if I am not ethnically Greek by DNA, I would feel like a WE WUZ GREEKZ N SHEET if I did that, I do not want to LARP.

The problem is that Hellas was subject to lot of migrations. Pontics are counted as Greeks even though they arent for instance

Well thats the thing.

I feel like my family migrated from Slavs or Turks into the Byzantium world, and then they ended up going to Greece and staying there, and then 1000 years later I am born.

I have sent out DNA to several different labs, so I want to see how the results come back.

>falling for the DNA jew

Post pic and I can tell you what ethnicity you are or if you are a mutt.

>race is skin deep
I'd better test an IQ test if I were you you retard

There are no 100% pure nations besides some jungle tribe in Brazilian forests. You are what you and your ancestors thought they are.

you look greek enough

You can't do this in the Near East, were too ethnically complex. What is Arab Christian today was Greek yesterday, which was Aramean the day before. The Middle East, Greece included, is far too complex. That's why you have darker, Arab looking Lebanese, as well as pale, green eyed Mediterranean looking Lebanese. What you look like isn't always accurate of your family's origins. My cousins are brown, I'm light olive. They have green eyes, I have brown. One of my grandfathers looks like Nassim Taleb, the other looks like Aoun. Genetics are not always visually accurate. You could be only 2% Jewish yet still inherit a Semitic nose. Or 5% Arab but have dark skin.
Culture/origins are far superior to exact ethnicity. Nobody is pure. Where your family grew up, the language, food, mythology, is more important than if you're 20% Bulgarian. When you obsess about ethnicity, you find hatred and superiority, like what caused the Lebanese civil war. This is why I don't care if my fellow Lebanese looks more or less Arab than me, were all Phoenicians. Cultural nationalism is the real Redpill. As long as your family has lived in your 'homeland' for many generations you're fine. But some foreigner can't show up and pretend to magically become Lebanese (go back to Syria for God's sake)
Hope this helps.

Nobody in real life has ever said I look Greek, not even other Greeks think I am Greek (talking mostly the Arab looking Greeks)

I understand what you're saying, but what about this for example. A Chinese man and woman comes to Australia now in 2018 and have kids. Their kids go onto also marry/have kids with other Chinese. Fast forward to the year 2518.

Can their future kids call themselves ethnically English-Australians, or Chinese because their ancestors from 500 years came from China to Australia? They still look Chinese. Any person on the street would assume they're from China, not English-Australians. etc.

This kind of reminds me with Romans debating who gets to be Roman, from what I've heard in Rome originally you had to be legit Roman, not even other Italics were considered Roman, to be "Roman" was relaxed over the centuries so any random from anywhere could become Roman?

You look slavic.

see, you don't look particularly off, if you told me IRL you were Greek I wouldn't bat an eye

You look just like I'd expect someone from the Balkans to look like. A bit too swarthy to be a Slav.

That's different, though. China is way too culturally and ethnically alien to Australia. You look like you could be any kind of southern euro or Balkan, so you fit in. You do have to look the part, I agree, but you don't have to be 100% pure Greek is what I'm saying. Trust me, an African could never come to Lebanon and pretend his descendants would be Lebanese. But I don't care if someone is only 50-60% Lebanese, as long as they fit in culturally and visually. A better example in your case would be Italians moving to Germany and becoming Germans after 150 years.

Well, you certainly look gay. That's the first step to being Greek.

I am an abomination

Wasn't Athens originally formed by survivors from wars and violent migrations?

I think Isokratis said that if you receive greek education then you are Greek

You are definitly from Khazakstan.
You have to go back.

You look Greek, my family is from mystra and my mom's side is much paler than you. My dad's side has the darker Greek look but I have none of those traits.
