Has anyone else been improperly or accidentally banned for content they did not post? Is this a simple snafu due to human error or some other more nefarious kind of happening? Is it possible someone spoofed my IP randomly or in a malicious attempt to get me banned?

Phones use public IP addresses unless you're using private wifi, it just means the guy who last used the IP you're currently using was banned. Something along those lines anyway.

It's probably an IP range ban. I got a few of those when i was on a 4g connection and got many different random IP's when connecting. Sometimes it was a range ban, and sometimes it was a banned IP that i got when i connected to my ISP. It's stupid really.

I've been on Jow Forums since 2005, I've been using a phone more than a computer for Jow Forums ever since I actually grew up and stopped playing video games so much. I think they want to create this stigma of phoneposting because posting from a computer almost always means you're alone and more susceptible to being influenced into fapping or playing a video game or both.
