Not when your $4 billion investment needs to recover $200 million every year in lost interest income potential. They can't afford a bomb. They need to pay the investment off or it still loses $200 million every year.
It's a year and a half before ep9 is released. Solo is a loss of nearly $200 million ON TOP of the $200 million annual loss on the time value of the 4 billion. At some point, if Disney doesn't turn this around, the 4 billion will be a write off.

It's not enough to be highest grossing movie you dumbass. Disney didn't buy Star Wars to make make movies that are moderately successful. TFA made $2 BIL. RO made $1 BIL. TLJ made $1 BIL. Solo is at $200 million. Disney needs every movie to be making $1 BIL and major movies should be doing $2 BIL. And you have to realize that in the eyes of the business, TLJ basically lost $1 BIL because of how behind it is.
