I was there today, visiting the city and hopped on the ferry to see the statue of liberty. That place seemed like deserted nignag zoo...with a minor league baseball team.
The only nice thing about it is the fact that it's on the very edge of new york state so we're usually left alone. Staten island is so irrelevant it doesn't even have it's own country name.
