I'd say that Atomwaffen Divison embody different aspects of National Socialism from that of most Neo-Nazis. Many modern incarnations of National Socialism attempt to distance themselves from the negative racism (i.e. promotion of hatred of the "other") while placing emphasis on positive racism (love of one's own race). Atomwaffen does the exact opposite and places emphasis on the cold dark hatred. For them, the end goal is not the utopia that will supposedly come about after a bloody struggle, but the bloody struggle itself.

Well I think that could be said of any society. It's the people the system most profoundly failed who wind up overthrowing it. From the disgruntled factory workers, disillusioned veterans, and non-Russian minorities (Jews, Latvians, etc.) who took up arms for the Bolshevik cause in 1917 to the angry and unemployed veterans who believed they had been betrayed that took up arms for the Freikorps and later the Nazis.

All societies produce alienation, but you're right, liberal capitalism is producing it at a much faster and far more alarming rate. It's one of the reasons I think the current system will be far more short-lived than a lot of people expect it to be. I think the remains of America would ultimately be split into 6-7 distinct countries but they would be a constant state of low level war with each other. Just reading up on AWD and ignoring the peanut gallery; I bet this Arthurs just took the wrap for Russell. One of the guys had tipped the feds so they wasted them both. Without evidence except inert radioactive elements and simple explosives (besides nitrate) the feds couldn't pin a larger charge on Russell.
