You should realize that trying to change a country like ours through democratic means is basically impossible with all the private interests and corruption going on, but since LMAO is a weak leader he goes the safe route instead of attempting a Coup d'etat and executing the politicians for their crimes against the people.

But if his policies get blocked and can't keep up his promises, how are his candidates supposed to win? Then the establishment can either get him CIA'd like Colossio in the 90's, only making it appear as an accident or a health problem or commit electoral fraud in local elections, once again. Don't get me wrong I don't like those pieces of shit in power, they need to hang from trees, but they have very powerful backers who are invested in keeping things as they are or even making us more dependant on foreign powers overtime.

And even if the people were to revolt because of this, they wouldn't stand a chance due to being unarmed and unskilled in combat, they would rely on small paramilitar groups like EZLN who can't properly fight in a full front and depend on guerrila tactics.
