In the 1970s and 1980s, the GDR was able to pretty effectively guard its border to West Germany and so did Czechoslovakia. It was very hard to cross, often people got shot or severe.y hurt by guard dogs.
How come 1980s tech 2nd world countries could guard 1000km of border, yet mighty Europe cannot guard 400km land border to Turkey?
The sea border should be even more easily guarded given radar and satellite surveilance.
It's not hard, they just don't want to. France deploys troops year round to African shitholes for dubious reasons, they could just as easily rotate a few hundred men along whatever border if there was a will.
Juan Young
So why? Why not guard the borders? Politicians are losing their jobs left, right and center. Merkel is under severe pressure. The Austrian pro-illegal immigrant chancellor was defeated in elections by right wing guys, in Italy right wingers took over.
Why not just freaking close the border and avoid all the problems?
Isaac Jackson
>can't or won't You already know the answer, Kraut, and it's the same reason our southern border has remained so porous for so long.
Isaac Perez
the lefties are deluded and they think people will keep virtue signaling in the voting booths, now the tide is turning and it's too late
Mason Garcia
It's racist
I thought we got rid of hitler
Asher Morris
Because if you shoot someone crossing there will be an army of Soros lawyers suing border patrol for violation of "human" rights.
Brody Phillips
And they still not close the borders
Jack Morris
They could use stun guns and nets to capture them. No need for deadly bullets.
Sebastian Mitchell
>I still don’t get why it is so hard to close EU borders
You stupid fuckhead. It isn't physically hard. It is hard because of European Union law that you lot created in Strasbourg allowing these cunts to come here and opening up all of the national borders to artificially induce the creation of a single state under Brussels' control.
The Jews in control don't want the borders closed.
David Powell
It's going to take time for these kinds of changes
Eli Foster
at that time the GDR was on a war footing. It's military was expecting conflict
Wyatt Brown
I think you still can sue them for violation of human rights even in this case, if it isn't true why aren't they doing it yet, also there is clearly a lobby who doesn't want this to occur.
John Anderson
What EU law? The EU law allows Greece to hand back all migrants to Turkey, no exceptions.
Andrew Ortiz
>Why not guard the borders?
It's a necessary part of (((their))) plan. If they closed the borders (which they could easily do) no new refugees or migrants would come, ending their plan of creating a unified EU.
Julian Thomas
>ending their plan of creating a unified EU.
Let’s be honest here, the migrant crisis is the single biggest crisis the EU ever experienced and it has led to Brexit, to an openly anti-EU Italian gov, anti-EU Eastern European govs and an anti-EU Greek people.
If the migrant crisis heats up again, the EU will probably die in its current form with internal borders being back up for good.
Blake Harris
Everything that has happened since 2001 is part of an agenda.
Andrew Ramirez
What agenda?
John Price
because they don't want to close them
Nathan Rodriguez
But why? Why not close the borders? Merkel would be Europe’s hero.
Noah Ross
they unironically want mutt people, easier to control
Noah Watson
But they aren’t easier to control, they fuck everything up.
David Howard
Maybe here. But that would be the admission of defeat and she'd be eaten by her opponents. Politicians don't intend to show weakness, even if it forces them to support retarded ideas.
Angel Price
its just a meme. they couple all sorts of to be like natural desasters.
a dutch company i used to work for(bam) is richt now building a border fence in saudi arabia...
its actually the other way around. eu laws would have prevented it. even german law. internal documents admit they bypassed law.
but they did similar with the financial crisis. this sint an age of regents and stiffprussian officials, but of ex hippies. ex commies and other boomer scum. laws to them are boring and gay.
David Sanders
No, you savage ape. EU has never been more divided. The plan is crashing this plane with no survivors, because it became too stagnant. This is crysis-oriented management
Andrew Allen
Because being "too intelligent" to conduct one's self in favor of national interests became a meme among the intelligensia who then took over government and institutionalized treason, whereas 2nd world countries operate on basic utilitarianism and don't have the luxury for self-defeating ivory tower moral masturbation. That's why libshits want to suck off every brown person that crosses their path to apologize for self-perceived crimes no one gives a shit about, while China bulldozes African villages to make way for mining operations.
Christian Carter
The EU doesn't WANT to close its borders. The people want them closed, but fuck them.
Ethan Rivera
>But they aren’t easier to control, they fuck everything up.
You have to try and see things from "their" plan. While migrants and mutts may trash things, they ARE necessary in their plan of a unified EU.
Thomas Roberts
they dont want an industrialized west(germany, france, italy) with functioning social-democratic settings(rhineland model).
they want a global shitshow of authoritarian economics for the masses and freedom of capital movement for the few.
Cooper Ramirez
The land borders are very hard to cross, that’s why the migrants don’t even try to enter at the land borders. Almost all of them come by boat, which also answers your question.
Govenments, media, big business all want no borders now for ideological and business reasons.
The goodniks get multiculturalism, the corps. no longer have to worry about national governments -- they can hop around the world looking for cheap labour, markets and low taxes.
Jews/technocrats get to rule over a malleable, de-racianated, atomized, low-IQ population
We'll get to compete head-to-head with the third world hordesl !
