In Roman Polanski's 1968 film Rosemary's Baby, the Dakota was used for exterior shots of "The Bramford", the apartment building where several of the characters live. So John Lennon was Shot where they filmed Rosemary's Baby? Does this strike anyone as odd?

It's so weird that you posted this. I was just watching Rosemary's baby for no particular reason yesterday. It got me thinking. The movie is set in 10965/66 but was produced in 1968. Just think about how different 1965/66 was compared to 1968 onward. It's almost as if Rosemary's baby were a documentary about the actual birth of the son of the Devil (I'm not even religious but hanging out here has fucked with my mind). The omen was produced in 1976...eight years later. Doesn't it seem like something evil has taken over since the mid-60s? Are movie producers (modern day story tellers) perversely flaunting what they know right in from of our eyes? I've been thinking aobut this since yesterday and you've totally freaked me out by posting this today.
Looked up coloboma..never heard of it before but what does that have to do with Henry Kissinger. I've seen Chinatown but I don't recall any mention of Coloboma..was that part of the story? Or did the actors have it?

It's more than odd the amount of incidents and scandals surrounding Polanski and his group of celebrity friends. The Polanski rape of that young girl happened at Jack Nicholsons house if I remember correctly and there was another incident surrounding Jack and Christopher Walken which was highly suspicious that involved someone mysteriously "falling" overboard on a boat outing and drowning.
