I spent a little over 3 years in the Army chilling in Hawaii, then got out and used my GI Bill. Got paid 4k a month studying Finance at Columbia, which accepted me even though I had horrible grades, just because I served in the Army and had a cool backstory.
While at Columbia I got accepted into Goldman Sachs' Veteran Integration Program. Now I make nearly 300 grand a year advising private company's on potential IPO's.
The question is, why the fuck WOULDN'T you join the military and then have your banker bros set you up for the rest of your life? Wall Street takes care of ambitious Veterans. I would have been a nobody if it wasn't for the military and bankers.
