Now of course I tried to figure out how the UFOs work too. When looking into this stuff Victor Schauberger turns up frequently, and also Schuman (specifically the Schumann-Levitator) it seems when looking into the UFO stuff.

Also, getting back to what you said that about suspending ferromagnetic particles in mercury in order to control it and replace mechanical parts. This would also most likely not work as even if such a fluid could be put under a magnetic field it would still remain a liquid. Look up ferrofluid, it is the closest thing we have to the concept you mentioned.

true, but assuming you can make the magnetic field strong enough the liquid mercury may be locked into the position strong enough to act as a solid. you basically just need to make it dense enough. but then again im not a physicist
Locked into position would mean giving the mercury a crystalline lattice, meaning you would need to maintain an even magnetic field throughout the body. Also, the mercury itself is not ferromagnetic meaning it still would not work.
