This seems like some kind of forced shit to get "racists" to push an inaccuracy that can be disputed, in order to delegitimize the words of someone who can be shown to also embrace the concept of "people of light". Isnt is generally accepted that exposure to light is what gives non whites their extra melanin responsible for dark skin and dark eyes and dark hair, and that conversely, whites traits are from the opposing conditions? In this context I would argue whites are people of the dark. Point being, as soon as you start saying "Oh we are people of the light!" some douche leftist is gonna be like "Well achschually, nazi, you come from caves.." And therefore cast doubt in the mind of viewing third parties on all the words and opinions youve ever voiced.
I also think it could be morphed into a means of trying to associate "pol" aligned things as white supremacy platforms through a convenient acronym that happens to correlate with the meme's place of origin- Jow Forums Could this not be used by your enemies to try to finally get Jow Forums branded as a white supremacy site rather than simply a bastion of free speech? You'll have something they can easily classify as a white supremacists hate symbol, an acronym for it that matches its place of origin- Jow Forums and an eternal documentation of that operation right here in the many threads regarding the people of light meme.
