bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-44305998 >The new Right to Try act allows patients with life-threatening diseases to bypass the FDA's application process for "compassionate use" of experimental drugs. >Patients seeking access to "investigational drugs" now need only the approval of their physician and the drug manufacturer. >>>>>>>>>The new bill protects doctors and companies from the legal risks of allowing unapproved treatments unless they intentionally harm a patient.
What does this mean? First off, medical Marihuana, one of the not approved drugs, can now be requested. Furthermore Doctors arent bound to the (((legal))) therapies anymore that are only based around making money. Before any doctor prescribing something outside of the (((approved))) drugs and treatments risk getting his license revoked, sued and entire life destroyed. Now Doctors are able to advice the treatment they think will work the best.
However downside to the bill is that the patient has to have tried every other treatment first and only afterwards will be allowed to get stuff outside the system, but is a step in the right direction.
I remember this being mentioned a couple times when it was first signed in, not on msm as far as I can tell though .
Jaxon Watson
I argued with you about this weeks ago. I assume it's you because it's the same damn German flag and image as last time. I'm just gonna assume you're a shill now.
Joseph Phillips
i am probably the same, made the thread some time ago, but aside from that didnt see anything mentioned here about it, so i thought i bring it up so it doesnt get memory holed. but think whatever you want.
well, for me it seemed completely memory holed
Ian Butler
He really wants to BTzfO Pharma he needs to ban direct marketing and advertising to consumers by Pharma.
The media would be royally fucked as well.
Isaac Bennett
I want to fuck that retard.

>medical Marihuana the only cancer here is you kid. A bunch of dumb fags like yourself have been convinced by other fag potheads that pot can cure cancer and somehow BIG PHARMA is keeping pot from being legalized because they couldn't control it. This is worse than Alex Jones level bullshit. Just advocate for pot to be legal because you want to smoke it instead of drinking alcohol for fuck's sake.
who said anything about cure? nice strawmanning. what weed indeed can be used for is: >negating sideeffects from cancer and HIV treatment >apethizer >painkiller >against asthma (when inhaled, not smoked) >glaucomea (slows down the development) >tourette (eases the symptoms) >slows down growth of certain times of cancer and in all cases is better becoming than todays legal alternatives and far cheaper. but it cant be copyrighted so pharma cant make much money with it so they instead lobby to keep it illegal
also weed smokers appearently have an overall better functioning immune system
>First off, medical Marihuana, one of the not approved drugs, can now be requested. First of all, weed isn't used to try and fix fatal diseases, but chronic pain Second, weed is still schedule 1, so this does nothing to weed even if it was useful for such a disease Third, this law doesn't hurt pharma companies, it will just make it easier to collect clinical data. It's also a win for individual liberty. >Furthermore Doctors arent bound to the (((legal))) therapies anymore that are only based around making money. Before any doctor prescribing something outside of the (((approved))) drugs and treatments For fucks sake. Biotech companies spend BILLIONS investigating and proving novel therapies on the off chance they could be cheaper or even marginally more effective treatments. It's why the 10 year survival rate for cancer has doubled in the last few decades. Stop shitting on people that are just trying to help you, you ungrateful little cunt. Overall, this is a great change, but you have no fucking idea why.
Adrian Russell
>slows down growth of certain times of cancer This is a halmark sign of terminal DudeWeedLmao. A retard who doesn't understand that a substance's ability to inhibit cell growth in vitro does not make it a chemotherapy candidate.
Cooper Morales
see for weed. never claimed its a cure
also provide a source that schedule 1 drugs are excluded from the bill. and it does hurt them in the sense that now doctors can recomment treatments the pharma lobby didnt approve of without losing their license and destroying their lives. a lot of doctors keep to the approved therapies only because of that.
Ethan Howard
that its shown in clinical testing that it works gives a good reason to test it out if it also works with humans, which for (((some reason))) is never done

pharmacies can't stock dchedule 1 drugs, so even if a doctor could perscribe it, it still can't be legally filled under federal law. As far as the use of weed goes, you said "it kills pain" several different ways, then lied about it being useful for cancer. There is ZERO in vivo evidence for it, much less clinical. >treatments the pharma lobby didnt approve of jesus fucking christ. Are you a homeopath faggot or something?
Isaiah Watson
i dont think pharmacies can stock anything that isnt approved, regardless of the schedule. also i didnt lie. it does slow down certain types of cancer, it just has to be field tested which again for some reason is never done. and yeah, because i acknowledge the pharma jews being corrupt pieces of shit im instantly for homeopathy. nice strawmanning. and "kills the pain" is mentioned only once, the other points are unrelated to pains but other cases of uncomfort or decrease of speed a desease develops. you start glowing mate
Jack Baker
pharmacies can and do stock almost whatever the fuck they want. But if it's a regulated substance (schedule 3, for exam) they can only sell it by perscription, and schedule 1 is banned even to them. Of course, Germany laws could be different, assuming you're not an american using a german proxy. >it does slow down certain types of cancer, it just has to be field tested After in vitro testing comes animal model testing. It didn't fucking work. >and yeah, because i acknowledge the pharma jews being corrupt Name a single trwatment that "pharma lobbiest jews" are supressing. >and "kills the pain" is mentioned only once, the other points are unrelated to pain No, it's how it treats all those diseases, except cancer, which it can't treat.
and how is stimulating appetite killing pain? or getting rid of naussea? slowing down glaucomea development, tourrete spasm and making it easier to breath for asthma patients. tourrette doesnt cause pain, neither does asthma (unless you currently suffer an attack). glaucomea development also isnt pain. you can argue that appetite loss is caused by pain or naussea, but that would also be really generalizing a dozen different causes of which many are not pain related.
on stocking marihuana, maybe im wrong there, am not that familliar with law in the US, but to me it does sound like it is at the very least decriminalized or patients
Charles Jackson
>may be lmao. Link the pubmed or fuck off. >More recently, scientists reported that THC and other cannabinoids such as CBD slow growth and/or cause death in certain types of cancer cells growing in lab dishes Other things that do this: Ethanol, Bleach, Forgetting to filter the FBS so yeast grows in the dish fuck you Ming you ruined my samples >and how is stimulating appetite killing pain? or getting rid of naussea? slowing down glaucomea development, tourrete spasm and making it easier to breath for asthma patients. Because it all works through the same, well characterized neurological receptor signalling pathway which principally is used for pain transmission. >on stocking marihuana, maybe im wrong there, am not that familliar with law in the US, but to me it does sound like it is at the very least decriminalized or patients On a state level it is decriminalized in some places, but not federal. Dispenseries do exist, but they are technically federally illegal. National drug store chains won't touch it.
Ryan Gray
you are retarded. first you ignore the second part of the quote >Some animal studies also suggest certain cannabinoids may slow growth and reduce spread of some forms of cancer. then you completely generalize the other things. it helps with glaucomea because it lowers the inner eye pressure which is the cause for glaucomea. it helps with asthma because it widens the lounge capilaries (or whatever its called in english) and im fairly sure its not pain that causes tourette spasm. you glow mate. the only reason i reply still is to bump
Jason Reyes
>Some animal studies also suggest certain cannabinoids may slow growth and reduce spread of some forms of cancer. Again, >may They didn't get a positive result. Otherwise they would say that it CAN, or that it DID. Not "may". >it helps with glaucomea because it lowers the inner eye pressure which is the cause for glaucomea. it helps with asthma because it widens the lounge capilaries (or whatever its called in english) and im fairly sure its not pain that causes tourette spasm Guess what controls all of this. A specific kind of neural signalling pathway that in general causes muscles to relax, because weed is a depressant. Eye pressure is lowered by relaxing the muscles in the eyes. Bronchioles open up by relaxing the muscular layer.

>BTFO pharma I hope you aren't serious. This just means people can be guinee pigs easier than before. Pharma companies have jacked up the prices of their products tenfold under trump and buy out cometition because the justice department is ignoring it. Sorry if reality doesn't suit your agenda.
Jacob Thomas
You can't bump your own thread, you stupid hippy kraut nigger.
Brandon Ward
yet it did get me back to page 1 idiot.
noone forces you to take anything thats not approved, on the other hand now you are free to get stuff outside of the (((pharmalobby)))
Caleb White
No, I got you back to page one, so more people can laugh at your crystal healing bullshit
Samuel Martin
Sure, if you believe it thats all that matters. I go to sleep and bump another time before that which i appearently cant but still gets me back from page 8
