It is of my belief that if Hitler had not tried to annex Czechoslovakia (which I might add the Czech and Slovak people did NOT want to happen) the Poles and Allies would have caved on Danzig. But it is when they invaded Czechoslovakia and thereby conquering and subjucating a foreign people, where the Allies had it proven that hitler was out for conquest and blood and thus in my view correctly drew a final line in the sand and defended against Hitler's further aggression.
