Daily reminder that James Collony was Nazbol and /ourguy/.
"The fight in Ireland has been one for the soul of a race – that Irish race which with seven centuries of defeat behind it still battled for the sanctity of its dwelling place."
This quote causes unreal amounts of butthurt among commies who idealize this man. Not only was he nazbol but the nationalism was what was most important to him. Just before his death he didn't talk about socialism, he didn't talk about Marxism or classes he talked about Ireland and the Irish people (which he thought of as a race).
"We went out to break the connection between this country and the British Empire, and to establish an Irish Republic. We believed that the call we then issued to the people of Ireland, was a nobler call, in a holier cause, than any call issued to them during this war, having any connection with the war. We succeeded in proving that Irishmen are ready to die endeavouring to win for Ireland those national rights which the British Government has been asking them to die to win for Belgium. As long as that remains the case, the cause of Irish freedom is safe.
Believing that the British Government has no right in Ireland, never had any right in Ireland, and never can have any right in Ireland, the presence, in any one generation of Irishmen, of even a respectable minority, ready to die to affirm that truth, makes that Government for ever a usurpation and a crime against human progress.
I personally thank God that I have lived to see the day when thousands of Irish men and boys, and hundreds of Irish women and girls, were ready to affirm that truth, and to attest it with their lives if need be."
Are there many illustrations in the Gaelic Ireland in the middle ages book? I might pick that one up as well. The longest running one
Parker Martin
I took a look at the 32 county sovereignty page on FB today and that group and their supporters are turbo cucks too. Republicanism is a cucked ideology.
Seriously though, what was Barrett up to, the guy has no common sense at all
Daniel Foster
Gaelic Ireland in the Middle Ages is text only. It's out of print so you have to get it in ebook form.
Landon Parker
Everywhere south of Ulster is lebensraum for ulstermen. Change my mind.

That one wasn't the best I would love to have more info on it honestly, apparently the interview was an hour long.
Jaxon Reyes
It seems anti-NP irregulars have started their own thread. Two Éire/pol/ cannot exist side by side, one will have to be destroyed.
Lincoln Lopez
No such thing as bad publicity, they are always going to show our side in a bad light. Millions of people now know who he is because of that
Brandon Hughes
I traced it back to Youghal. My family was thrown on the ships when Cromwell came stomping through.
John Watson
Leave those 2 people who dislike the national party for not being alt lite to themselves, don't bump their thread

Ignore it lad nothing to worry about A fellow Cork man, I would gladly let you return if I could as long as there is no major contamination.
>Leaving Cert students sat the first ever Politics exam today - here's what was in it thejournal.ie/first-politics-and-society-leaving-cert-exam-4057367-Jun2018/ >Explain the term ‘patriarchy’. >The essay section asked for students to write about people using their public profiles for social impact, gender inequality in Ireland, ethnic identity in global development, childrens issues or local initiatives. Thoughts lads?
I think they're forgetting the important questions to ask they're liberal horseshit.

Better you than some Nigerian at any rate

The full quote is "The fight in Belgium and in Poland are fights for the material possession of towns and cities, the fight in Ireland has been one for the soul of a race – that Irish race which with seven centuries of defeat behind it still battled for the sanctity of its dwelling place."
Connolly is talking about how the battlefield between England and Ireland in 1915 (World War I, just before the Easter Rising) was not "material possession of towns and cities" but for the "soul" of the Irish people - hearts and minds as some call it.
Connolly was reaching out in 1915 and 1916 to all Irish people who would make common cause in the fight against British imperialism. In fact, he talks about this.
De Valera and co. never said Connolly backed down from socialism before the Rising. In fact Dev said Connolly said the Citizen Army was going to stage an uprising with or without help from others. This changed the calculus from whether there should be a rising at all to whether the Volunteers would be involved.
Also Connolly said "We join in this fight with our comrades of the Irish Volunteers. But hold your arms. If we succeed, those who are our comrades today we may be compelled to fight tomorrow." There are other variations of this quote which are even more militant.
Also, people who have too much of a problem with Seán Russell, some of what Connolly said etc. are not commies and leftists, they are D4 liberals. Most real left republicans have little problem with any of this.
Jose Roberts
What's the craic lads? Had those r/Ireland tards trying to shite talk np the last few days, they'd wanna grow up a small bit
>example of patriarchy absolutely disgusting. the whole idea is prone to bias on the part of the examiner, and will fail anyone who does not give cucked answers.
Also - Ireland's economy is crap, outside Cork's pharmaceutical sector. Entrepreneurial geniuses like the Collison brothers flee the country. Ireland should be doing everything it can to nourish the 21st century industries happening in the Docklands. And that sure as hell is not going to be done by the National Party.
Just wondering if ye saw this? Isn't that entrapment?
Sebastian Ward
if i was in that situation honestly i would just go full 1488 to see what would happen >mfw examiner has to correct 4 page essay on why hitler did nothing wrong
