it didnt get me. i got an MBA

Cheaper labor.

Because if you are smart enough to advance society, Science Tech, Engineering, and Medicine are all noble causes from a pragmatic points of view.

Others like business and law, wouldn't exist if communism had been implemented correctly.

>Biochemistry
>Bachelor of Arts

Because of the programming meme. It was never a good idea.

How does that work? It's like studying maths to excel in a branch in literature.

>study a field thats almost exclusively R&D
>only get a bachelor's

GEEE WHY DID THAT HAPPEN?!

Attached: 1525709108139.png (267x259, 5K)

Probably basic science and math courses mixed with irrelevant philosophy, history, and social science courses.
That's why she sucks dick for a living.

>BA in Biochemistry
>Not BSc
Looks like this faggot bitch isn't as smart as she'd like to be.
Also - BSc is just entry level for MSc, which is bare minimum grade in Stem.

This, unfortunately, is correct. I learned the hard way that there are really no good jobs in for people with a bachelor's in biology. I never had an academic advisor to tell me not to stop at bachelors. In fact, I did apply to graduate school despite not being advised to, but didn't get in, largely, again, as a result of never having a good academic advisor explain how to get in. Now I am trying to get a job in the commercial real estate industry because I have connections to several companies in that industry, but not to biotech companies. In commercial real estate, I can definitely earn more money than I could ever earn with just a bachelor's in biology.

>be trainee student for bank in the it project management field
>"Hey user good job, wanna start working here once you get your degree?"
>"Sure"

5k each month ez pz

To flood the market. Anybody who goes in it for the money should realize there are better fields...

Liberal Arts colleges only offer BAs

I'm a non meme Autistic. It's the only field that allows you to have low social skills without firing you.

People like you are who excel in STEM desu. I'm talking about how every primary school has "STEM day" once a month to push kids in the profession.

>I do porn to pay off school
Proof?

Attached: 1529367101043.jpg (600x733, 27K)

>Bachelors of Arts
>Biochemistry

Lmao fuck off bitch you wanted to become a pornstar.

This. I don't get why she's hiding her face if she's exposed her tits and pussy on camera.

Thank God I live in Europe. I'm studying a similar thing but with government help and working during summer I can fully pay for it. A good way to spend time until some shit happens. Working makes no sense since pensions won't be paid in 20 years and this will allow me to larp as not stupid.

You know, men don't have the option of prostituting themselves when things get tough. Maybe she should be more grateful?

Exactly this.

Nowadays everything is possible mate. With all the degenerate shit going around I'm sure some old fag would gladly pay to fuck you.

>went to a more expensive private school over a state college or community college
>didn't work while in college
>no mention of applying for scholarships (with such high grades as she claims they should have came easily)
>gave up looking for jobs instead of trying harder and making connection
>finally gets a job that she should have had on the side 8 years ago
>took more classes for a degree she already has(???)
>somehow manages to piss away 15000 dollarydoos on moving (she was just homeless the year before what the fuck is that money being spent on??)
>settled for a shitty lab tech job paying next to nothing
>owns pets despite obviously having trouble supporting even herself
Surely no one could actually be this fucking retarded right

$650 for rent? I can't find a one bedroom for less than a thousand.

seriously janitors @ schools make 1.5x what she supposedly makes a month

>started doing internet porn

What a fucking whore.

It was kind of her fault:
-Went to an expensive school
-BioChemistry ok cool, wait you got a BA?? No wonder you can’t get a job you fucktard, don’t go to a liberal arts school for a stem major stupid fuck.
>i WoRk HaRd
Then work smarter.

Aren't Bachelor's degrees pretty much useless in some fields of science like Biology or Chemistry? I always thought you needed a PhD or at least a Masters to really make those work. Better to just get into some healthcare field if you're just gonna get a bachelor's.

>Aren't Bachelor's degrees pretty much useless in some fields of science like Biology or Chemistry
If you want to work in the field you studied, yes.

>Be me
>Early 20's
>Last semester working on my Associates degree
>Apply to dozens of places everyday
>An interview and a few calls back but no luck
>Won't hire student in learning
>Place I applied to in 2017 calls back
>Wants to interview
>State how much I want to make
>They give it to me with the job offer
>Didn't graduate until 2 months in
>Already talking pay bump 3 months in
>Only regrets is not asking for more

Always held down a job throughout school thus have not taken on any debt whatsoever. Making lower-middle class wages at entry level and love my job. If I can leverage an Associates Degree I didn't even obtain yet to start my career, then you should get into STEM. This all happened in the span of 5 months too.

Surely no one could actually be this fucking retarded right
>women

because people who do actual sciences not bullshit sciences ones make money...

They kind of do, it's called the military. But hey, at least it's not internet porn, right? Being a whore is the same as getting blown to shit by an IED, right?

It's not STEM, it's STEAM, the A stands for Arts :^)

sounds like my ex wife.
>17 yr old, start 4 year degree for child adolescent development at state school
>nearly entirely paid for by grants and scholarships
>almost graduate and decide doesnt want to be a teacher so pick a grad program in same field
>get 20k student loan for grad degree
>finish grad program and work in field for 1 year
>hates it
>decide to ditch previous two degrees
>move to france to go to AUP for a grad program in marketing.
>total student loan now at ~100k
>finish program and get internship at some marketing firm
>have affair with coworker
>divorce
>now re married to different french man
>3 kids making 30k with 100k in student loan.

i would have been on the hook for half of that 100k loan if i had managed to impregnate that bitch. at least i got my great grandmothers ring back.

I'm by no means an expert, but I've gotten far more opportunities by connections than anything on my resume or any degree/certifications I have. I'm a total sperg, but I've still got 3 or 4 people I could call tomorrow and at least get an interview at the places they work.

Obviously if you're going into hard engineering or sciences, you're going to need to have the degrees, but that's not going to get you a job.

For me, I'm doing IT. I made a lot of my connections just by hanging around in IRC channels and volunteering for a small community site. Shit anyone can do, basically supporting users that can't google or read a FAQ.

A lot of professions have dynamics like this. You can even try cold calling or emailing people working in a field you'd like to get into and asking if you can shadow them for a day. It sounds like boomer advice, but in my experience people in skilled professions are eager to work with someone excited about the field. I'd target people who work for themselves or in small businesses.

Be willing to do a bit of grunt work in exchange. For example, once I was interesting in running live sound for bands. I asked the sound guy at a local venue if I could watch him mix a show. In exchange, I took care of some of the pita things like wrapping cables and moving things. After a few more nights of this, I eventually ended up filling in for him when he couldn't make it.

That's why she didn't get hired, she is so retarded she doesn't even know she has a Bachelor of Science

>t. never heard of a liberal arts school

Because they are scum and they want patsies. STEM can be good but Chad from marketing usually gets the pussy.

Another reason to despise the left, they are always pushing muh education, when most of them are basket weaving or unionist commies and have never done anything truly difficult in their life.

Oh, forgot to mention, for the shadowing thing, don't even bring up the possibility of working with/for them, or at least not until you've been doing it a while. Your main goal is to get some real world experience, demonstrate that you're a hard worker, and possibly get a reference. Even if you don't get a reference, being able to drop a name comes in handy in an interview. "oh, I learned how to do that from at " can totally get you a job if the interviewer knows of them or their business. It can also backfire if they have a bad reputation, but that's why you make sure they guy you're shadowing knows wtf he's talking about first.

Open borders caused this

You can't Allude to Jonny foreigners

snorkles cock to pay for iphone and starbucks

kys thot

I don’t know why this is getting overlooked
It’s just that it costs too much and there aren’t enough of them right now

I really want to be a demographer or get a degree in history but unless I’m a professor these fields aren’t really hiring.

>why does society push people towards viable market jobs and skills
I have no idea. Never thought about it honestly before

Then get a job in a field outside of history...

Also I’m scholarship’d up and I have a 25k inheritance, any advice?

>costs too much

fuck you pay me

What kind of work do you want to do? If you're not taking out loans, you could go to a professional grad school and make $

that piece of paper she's holding is just an advertisement for her pornography; don't fall for it

What a dumb roastie
>straight out of school with a mechanical engineering degree
>make 80k per year
>pay off debts
>get a raise. Now make 100k
>Pass PE Exam
>get another raise. Now make 115k
Ez pz. Next up is to start my own fabrication shop

Going to uni won’t make you a good programmer, normies still don’t get this.

Dumb fuck didn’t go to grad school.

I meant that they don’t like paying their employees much, and by increasing the supply of STEMfags they’ll lower the demand

link for research?

Most companies won't hire without a degree, Florida.

>GETS A FUCKING BA IN THE STEM FIELD. MAKE STUPID CHOICES WIN STUPID GAMES

>2004
Top 10% is not impressive.

>2008
Nor is a 3.4 GPA, or this bitch costing her dumb boomer parents money.

>2009
Applying to 90 jobs in 12 months isn't impressive. You take any job that comes your way so there aren't huge gaps in your job history.

>2010
Now she stoops to working at McDonalds to take supplementary classes? Did her degree program have missing classes?

>2011
Some contact she only got around to finding after 3 years from the program where she could've made dozens finds her a job. Pathetic.

>"Today"
Her degree apparently only got her a $15/hour job (lab assistant/diagnostic grunt work?) and she's still whoring herself out to keep unsustainable lifestyle afloat.

No sympathy whatsoever.

Any tips for an undergrad Electrical Engineer?

I want it, too. But don't let her trick you. Stay strong, 'pede

it sure wont but unless you intend to freelance for the rest of your life, you need that piece of paper.

What age did you get your MBA?

Anyone who gets a BA and not a BS in a stem discipline is an idiot. Arts degrees are literally worthless and this exemplifies it. Furthermore, if you're in stem why would you stop at bachelors? Dumb bitch is dumb.

an Israeli I agree with, huh

Before or after tax?

Read "Technological Slavery" or "Anti-Tech Revolution" to know why.

Essentially, STEM advances technology, and self-propagating systems (governments, corporations, universities) compete for power under a system of natural selection. Those self-propagating systems that best make use of technology expand in their power faster than those that don't. Since technology today has become by far the greatest determinant of evolutionary success, due to the incredible leverage and power of technology today, this process has reached a fever pitch.

Self-propigating systems need resources to develop their technology, and since humans are just one of these resources, they have to put out a lot of propaganda and push a lot of education to brainwash kids into becoming computer nerds so that they can be effectively utilized by the self-propagating systems to survive and propagate.

Keep in mind, the level of propaganda and education pushing kids into STEM is conditioned on the unique objective factors in our environment. If these objective factors change, then so will the need to push people into STEM. For example, it's conceivable that in the future AI and robotics will have advanced to such a degree that human labor is not only unnecessary, but harmful--since humans, no matter how competent can cause greater inefficiencies and disruptions than by their non-human counterparts. If this ever happens, then our society will likely push out a ton of propaganda and education forcing everyone to avoid STEM and stick to other things that the self-propagating systems need. It's possible that at that point the self-propagating systems will need humans to do NOTHING, as human activity will get in the way. In this case kids will then be encouraged to star in virtual reality on UBI, or stick to arts-and-craft hobbies or other useless fluff that has not real impact on the functioning of the system, but acts to keep rebellious impulses to a minimum.

This doesn't really happen in here, most institutions shill for humanities and medicine. STEM is not saturated or filled with pajeets.

I didn't know they made these for hard sciences...

I remember my CS dept offered a BA, but the professors all said that it was stupid, we should do the BS instead, and they shouldn't even offer it.

70% of my department are no degree high level autists, even our boomer managers understand they can hire 18 yr olds who program far more effectively than most uni grads

>MSc, which is bare minimum grade in Stem.

Except in CS.

>ingeniero en sistemas

>que no cuenta como ingenieria fuera del pais

uff

>Applying to 90 jobs in 12 months isn't impressive

This. My wife’s job was closing down, she applied to 125 jobs in three months to find suitable employment. Did is suck for her? Of course, but she’s forgotten about it since she’s started her new job.

Doing the math, 90 job applications in one year is applying to

Fuckin' matrixed that one.

This

she earns more money than me

If that man does not die by execution by the state then we fail as a society.

Is that her?

>5k after tax

Sure thing buddy. I don't even get that much as a god damn engineer.

Just study mane. No partying no nothing. You have to know math inside out so get your ass in gear with that unlike what I did.
>took calculus 1 3 times before I could pass
>barely passed calc 2 and 3.
My GPA was shit for most years of college. Just bunker down and do it. The reward is sweet. And don’t fall behind in your studies. That happened to me. Was a pain in the ass digging myself out.

You wish, faggot leaf

I'm not planning to leave the country anyways and I still haven't started a career, currently working.

What career did you take?

yeah

>BA
We really should do more to explain to kids that if you can't do calculus, you're too dumb for college.

>Why does society push people toward STEM?

Why does society push women toward STEM?

Fixed

>CS
Not Stem Mathlet.

Because STEM should be capitalized the most.

This.

They want science tech engineering and maths to be CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP. So do STEM goyim.

>STEM MAJOR HERE AMA CUNTS

Walked on to every job I ever had. Taught myself programming, started a software company... $100K per year for 20 years. Now learning videography, started a production company. Working on my third music video... will do this for the next 20 years. Never had to do porn... and a good thing too because I, unlike any reasonably attractive female, never had that option to fall back on.

You are exactly right. I really appreciate the advice (srsly). I’m taking Calculus 2 right now and struggling with a lot of the concepts simply because I’m just procrastinating my studying convincing myself that it’ll all be fine. The fact that you were once in the same position and now have passed the PE gives me hope. Good luck to you

Sent out 90 resumes, only spoke to one person. Clearly not smart enough to figure out that resumes are just a formality and people actually get jobs by meeting people and earning their trust and respect first.

Why do brainlets think you can't find jobs in STEM?

There are loads of well paying jibs in STEM, you just need to be non-shit.
And too many brainlets graduate without developing the necessary skill set.

90% of the earnigs figures people give here are bs

germany overtaxes the skilled worker, which have to pay as much as ppl making 250k/a.

hahahahaha women are absolutely degenerate. Imagine if a man was in a similar position; he'd work his ass off to get a better gig instead of working his ass to make ends meet.
