Should we ban fracking?

Should we ban fracking?

>it fuck up the environment
>make water flammable
>but it does make us less dependent on Saudi Arabia

We’re turning America into a oil country

Fracking water is safe to drink. Oil independence is a great thing for our economy, foreign policy, and imperialism slowing down. It really only has adverse effects on the ground which produce more earthquakes in some isolated areas where fracking happens. Read up on fracking, its actually not as bad as the media made ot seem, that's why they stopped attacking it... because its categorically disproven by people with a brain.

Don't be a retarded gay nigger

Shut up lisa

We already banned industry and lot of tech in european countries, both by direct laws and ''free'' trade, and now you also want to ban resource extraction

>Is this something Bill the Russian Spy would agree with?
>Yes
>Then move away

>fucks up environment
>makes water flammable
absolutely and verifiably false

No, no worse than conventional production other than a little increased water usage. It's been in use since 1947, and fracturing itself has been around since the Civil War. Oil production isn't clean but its better than going back to the steam age.

Honestly the faster we destroy this planet the better.

no

>retards worrying about fracking water when their water is already loaded with pharma and agro chemicals
If you drink tap you're already fucked.

I drink 9 gallons a day, and I'm fine

It does make water flammable, I remember seeing a Michael Moore documentary where the tap water burned

Don't want fire water? Don't be a pussy

and i saw a michael moore documentary where he made beaners looks competent at medicine. dont believe everything you see, user

Was Michael Moore in the room? Gaseous bodies tend to have a dense, methane cloud about them that is apt to combust.

>2049-31
>Still using oil

Because...?

Don't pull that shit. I live in PA and we've had multiple parts of the state that have had their water contaminated

Don't be a bitch about it

No we shouldn't ban fracking but I'm a PA resident and I don't want my water to be poisoned. And some of these megacorp big oilybois don't give a fuck if they poison a few thousand hillybillys and trees and shit. That's not okay.

Fraggot from west texas

I can confirm for these anons...
My job harms the environment; but it's currently a necessary evil.

>Fracking water is safe to drink

No, thorium is the best energy source that we have yet to implement.

Fracking doesn't harm groundwater if it's done properly.

Have any of you guys ever tried water contaminated by fracking? Floridanon here it's actually disgusting, not even worth washing your mouth out with.

Does it help you wash all that sand out of your vagina?

I help manufacture the gear reduction box for Gardner Denver fracking pumps and earn a great blue collar living off it, so yes please keep fracking

Water isn't flammable, but the trapped gasses methane (C1), ethane (C2), propane (C3), nor-propane & iso-propane (C4), and nor-pentane & iso-pentane (C5) are.
That shit occurred before fracking was ever practiced, by the way. It's just the trapped gasses venting.
Oil industry is the most American business practice there is; we've always been the #1 world innovators and we're #1 producers again.
You should get a job in the oil field, OP. Do a real man's job. Boom time is happening now. More jobs than there are workers and the pay is great. Average is 100K for half a year's work (2 weeks on, 2 weeks off).
Quit being a lazy faggot, grow a pair, and sling some pipe. Way things are now you could go from floor hand to driller in a year.

>but it wasn't REAL fracking! Real fracking has never been tried!

Thats what I've been saying all this time about Communism and seizing the means of production but nobody believes me.
C'mon guys just one more time. We'll get it right this time, I promise.

yes, it's bad for the environment
shut it down so we can mine more oil

If you have so much natural gas in your water that it burns, bottle that shit up and sell it and stop being a poor fag.

>Should we ban fracking?
yes, the goal is making money while preparing the ground for more money by selling water after polluting all groundwater.

That video of water catching fire was staged, they caught the guy lying. BUT then again there are a ton of videos of that so IDK. Would be dumb of me to assume they're all fake but now a day's you never know....

I'm all for fracking but so long as we find a way to minimize damages to humans / environments.
Hell, even the Flint Michigan water issue affected 100x more people than fracking ever has / will. Off topic but really activated my almonds

Why not just ban all directional drilling too. Those go through water tables as well. The cemented casing won't last forever anyway and will eventually fail amirite?

I wish your parents had banned fucking.

Just clean the water, is not that hard

>Flammable water

So it’s free energy?

Why don’t people use it to heat their houses?

Just asking.
Who the fuck are you?

We have had natural gas recovery systems in our house hold water systems for my entire life out here, and that is exactly what everyone does with it. This is just faggots whining again.

All of you are sub 100 IQ brainlet cucks. The entire reason you frack a formation is because it is totally impermeable, usually because of high clay content. Therefore the oil can't flow to the wellborn, so you inject a lot of permeable, porous sand through the casing to generate an in-situ reservoir where the oil can flow into. This is separated from drinking water reservoirs by thousands of feet of vertical depth and numerous impermeable formations. If it was physically possible for fracking to have any effect on drinking water reservoirs, then you wouldn't need to frack in the first place. Take a fucking geology class people.

Exactly. All these PA fags whose drinking water comes from natural aquifers in the Marcellus shale wondering why their water is flammable. Must be the fracking! (although that only started in 2012 and the water has been flammable there for 100 years).

This is how retarded Americans describe water that comes from the hot water tap

Fracking is amazing. Easily the path of the future. Good thing yurofaggots are too socialist to figure that out...bitches

>he learned to love the flavour of Puerto Rican semen

we are going to run out of the oil and gas from fracking quickly

The Brakken could be the largest known deposit in the world and a while back I remember reading the oil in northern Alaska alone could supply the US for 100 years. Oil ain't goin nowhere.

>Should we ban fracking?
yea, they already ruined the Floridan aquifer and noone gave a single a fuck

pulsegulfcoast.com/2016/06/pensacola-giant-dead-zone-sharks
and while unrelated to fracking this is another common issue.
>lets drain this brackish water into the bay
>hmmm it seems like a bunch of sea life died
>lets conduct a study to find out why it died
>inconclusive results
I'm no expert but its probably because they drained a bunch of nasty brackish water into the bay. They know damn well what caused it but they keep beating around the bush to avoid pissing people off

The Jay Field in Pensacola isn't fracked, you ass-gaped cucklord. It's a Strat trap not a source play. Please kill yourself.

>The Jay Field in Pensacola isn't fracked
The Floridan aquifer term refers pretty much the entire state
the article is unrelated to fracking so please do not assume I am talking about Jay Field
ballotpedia.org/Fracking_in_Florida

If done correctly doesn't fuck shit up

I have lived in pa for 32 years and the water has always been un drinkable you cuck

Youre a retard for drinkinf tap water in pa anyway i live in the sw coener of pa and ita been undrinkable all 32 years od my life just look at the test they do on our water we are sub flynt here buddy

There's so much ignorance in this post I don't even know where to begin
