Serious question for catholics. I'm not trying to bully, only trying to understand. The pope is supposed to be the representative of God on Earth. How do you reconcile the fact that the current pope is a cuck? Aren't catholics supposed to obey the pope? That is quite a bit difficult as Jow Forums is a board for a lot of people so no one action can make widespread change without a platform. The only platform we have here is threads with presence that can convince people. That requires discussion but it also requires answers and solutions to issues, which is difficult for people.

Personally, I have good sympathy for the view of genetic differences between types of people and the sexes. However I have suspicion on the correct means of parsing race and the means of understanding those groups generally. Because of it I don't know a best means to help all of them but I think the only solution possible must be a way to help all people rather than reject others for the sake of others. Because of this I have great issue with supremacists but support ethnic nationalists of all sorts.

I don't have the answers I wish I did but I think focusing on helping people stand up for themselves is better than making them dependent on others. Liberal multiculturalism has shown itself to be damaging.

The pope can be disagreed with, and can be wrong about things when not exercising this authority. Personally, I think this pope is too crude and too influenced by the international community. However I do find him Catholic and do find him loving.

I have immense hope that there is a great renewal coming. The more I look at the history of the Church in the second half of the 20th century, the more it seems to me that we were in real danger. Vatican 2 is not strictly heretical, but there were a lot of really awful and diabolical things done under the "spirit of Vatican 2." Notice that this is where a lot of the sex abuse cases are clustered. Satan does indeed appear to have entered into the Church and done terrible harm during this time.

But God gave us Saint John Paul the Great, who led us firmly out of what could have been disaster. He asserted the link of the "new" Church with the Church of the ages, and by his witness to the faith he gave the Church exactly what it needed then and there. Then, his successor, Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI, continued his project and even enhanced it. Benedict blew air and put wood on the dying embers of old Tradition, and kindled from them new fire that has only burned stronger and brighter.

Pope Francis has done some good things, such as releasing "Laudato Si." He has also done some bad things, such as challenging Church teaching on divorce and remarriage. But he does not understand what Saint John Paul the Great and Benedict unleashed. All the energy, all the spirit, all the strength in the Church is with the traditionalists and those who have held fast to the everlasting teachings of the Church. The Vatican 2 men are trying to enforce their will by dictat, but they don't have the strength. The Spirit is not with them. The Spirit is with us.

Racism, as defined by the church (and generally) as prejudice against another on the grounds of race. It is not prejudice to state or work under the belief of differences between people genetically if there is reason to believe so. As such, racism is an abuse of love of kin. When people talk about church leaders affecting how they view Catholicism I find St. Augustine very helpful. He was in a debate with a man who thought only the morally excellent could be priests. What I love about His Eminence is that he's challenged Pope Francis over and over on the signs that he's contradicting Church teaching, but he's also professed his loyalty to the Holy Father. Burke knows full well that schism is not the answer. It's never the answer. We must keep our faith in the Church, and we must believe Christ's promise that the gates of Hell would not prevail against it. We must follow Christ and the Church to whatever end.
