In the last 5 years the prices in bars rose up to 50%, while there are only minimal change in store bought beer or liquor.
Yesterday I payed 2€ for 400ml beer at a bar, for that price I get 1-2 liters of beer at the store.

Currently living with parents, have no money, gonna graduate soon and waiting for results.
Honestly i'd rather be online and enjoy staying indoors than going outside and in a pub, despite having not much friends in real life i do enjoy online company and don't feel so lonely anymore.

This. When I worked in the same plaza as a bar that became very popular once some brown guys took it over, I swear, their kitchen staff was on like a 2 month rotation. I'd see the same guys hanging out back having a smoke, throwing out the garbage, etc. Then a couple of months later, it's a new batch of guys doing it.

No one actually socializes anymore. They have social media but face to face interactions are not a priority.

Bars by me are charging anywhere from $6 to $12 for a pint of non pisswater beer and demand a tip while I can go to a store and get a 4 or 6 pack of the same stuff for anywhere between $10 to $15

I rarely went to bars in college after turning 21 because there's zero point. Only go infrequently if someone is visiting out of town and wants to see the city, and even then I'm virtually only hitting a happy hour. A "handcrafted cocktail" from an el goblino putting mint with rum is not worth $10 + 33% liquor tax + tip.

I'm starting to agree with this more as I age. I'd rather just have friends over and we'll cook something on the grill. Don't need muh tips, no waiting for a check for 20 minutes, bathroom is clean, no chance of niggers.

We generally don't have a pub culture. House parties are more popular here, even at a younger age. Most midsize cities will have one or two Irish or German style bars with access to all the soccer games, but otherwise our bars are either dive bar nasty, or way too expensive.
