My uncle had a nasty time due to an illegal using his SS number. My uncle contracted a rare blood clotting disorder, that left him unable to work. So he applied for disability, but was denied because of the spic using his SS in another state. He ended up in some Kafkaesque mess trying to convince the government that it was him working construction. It took ~2 years to get things straightened out.

The more money you make, the higher the percentage of your income you pay in taxes. If an illegal makes 20K, and you make 30K, the first 12K of that illegal's income will be tax free (standard deduction), then 8K of his income will be taxed, and the entirety of your 30K will be taxed, and your 30K will be taxed at a higher rate than normal.
