Rent in Denver is sky high and wages are too low to support it much longer. When all these slap together high rise closet sized apartments in substandard buildings open no one will be able to afford the rent. The local government will bail the developers out with tax pay funds.

It's a 'West Coast' city as far as cost of living, economic mobility and demographics are concerned. Lots of beaners, Californians, Texans and Nebraskans settling here. Climate is as good as it gets, but in the end most politics (at least in Denver) are going to be overwhelmingly blue.
