In 1860, the peak of slavery, the total free population of the United States and its territories was 27,489,561. A total of 393,975 people owned slaves.
That image is what got me researching. Those numbers would make sense and are probably from jews vs non-jews in the confederacy, which would indeed be much higher than 26%. E.g. my OP link cited 75% of jews in certain southern cities owned slaves vs the 40% overall percentage.
But those links on the image don't back that up and I couldn't find confederacy-only info that detailed about jews.
We need something that's easy for normies to verify and get redpilled by. Images like that alone don't do enough. Easily verifiable numbers and sources like the OP do.
If someone can find the numbers verifying that image, please post them. The jews role in the slave trade is megaton redpill for normies raised on jew brainwashing.

So we need to figure out how many jews lived in slave states to verify that 76% number.
