After the death of Tito (the strongman who ruled the country until the 80s) the Serbs got a really raw deal, particularly in areas with a lot of Muslims. Even while it was still Yugoslavia, the Serbs faced systematic discrimination. A memorandum (the SANU Memorandum) was leaked confirming many of the suspicions Serbs had, including that Tito had set them up and divided them, they were victims of a cultural genocide, their industries were moving to other parts of Yugoslavia, etc.. A lot of it is eerily similar to what is happening to white people in America and Western Europe. When Yugoslavia broke up, Serbs in places where they were minorities (rightfully so) chimped out and started killing people.

The Socialist Federalist Republic of Yugoslavia was created in 1945 (or 1943) dependong on who you ask as a socialist federation of 6 republics and 2 autonomus regions. It was on paper a socialist country where all the South Slavs were supposed to be treated equally, but in reality it was a Serbian plan to create Greater Serbia and Serbs held all the important political, economic, cultural and other positions in the government. Before the fall of communism the Serbs pretended to be communists because they knew both the USSR and the USA would come marching in and claiming the country for their own respecitve blocks if they had shown their true nationalistic faces. After communism fell in the 90s however the Serbs decided it was time to act and they threw away their socialist masks and became openly nationalist as the world was too busy dealing with the fall of socialism in Russia. That did not sit fell with the Slovenes and the Croats who declared independence. The Serbs claimed that the Croats and the Slovenes were neonazis starting a counterrevolution and other that false premise the Yugoslav wars began. The bloodiest conflicts were fought in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina was most complicated because in the beggining the Croats and Bosniaks (Muslims) fought together against the Serbian invaders, but the Bosniaks decided they wanted to create an islamic state under sharia law so they backstabed the Croats and in the end everyone was fighting everyone.
Yugoslavia was a masonic creation ever since Kingdom of SHS, and after Tito died we had to deal being different ethnicities (which we forgot we were), Ante Markovic stepped in , we had an awesome living standard for a year, freedom of expression and mighty industry and army, at the moment in 1989.
