I live in NYC. It’s very diverse here. I’m outside and all over the boroughs on my days off because I like to take in everything the city has to offer.
With that said, I see one interracial maybe once a month and unless you go where all the gays hang out, I don’t see gay couples or gay people often either.
Yet every form of media has interracial couples and gays. They are over represented. It doesn’t exist on the scale of representation they get in media.
