it'a a puzzling question. i don't know what compels them to seek out and hire indians. i don't know why indians have such a large presence in STEM.

If Americans score more on the GRE then obviously Americans will get into the programs. I think many Americans don't even take the test. Maybe the difference in pay for them is not so much.
