The House determines guilt or innocence and the Senate handles the sentence if found guilty.

The Dems have an outside chance at the House and if they get it impeachment is all but assured.

don't read their words. look at the actual data predictions they have. the actual predictions, sum up the columns and split the "tossups" evenly. that's they're actual prediction. the words are just to encourage their base and discourage the opposition.
also take a look back at previous years, they have a leftist bias in their predictions. therefore the actual result is gonna be more gop.
my prediction, the gop will hold seats in the house or possibly gain a handful, and several of the seats will be replaced with far more Trumpist reps.
in the senate, the gop will gain at least 3 seats and at least one of them will be still gop but an improved, more Trumpist senator. there is a slim possibility of 60 seats.

Basically general ballot advantage for the Dems is around 7 points right now, but it was as low as 4-5 a month ago, which is still 7 points lower than the 15 point lead at the start of this election.

Now the Democrats have two potential crisis in the house right now, and both are tied together. One is that they currently put out a call for as diverse a group as possible to run for office, this means a shit ton of minorities and women. Now on the federal level, there are like 40 black women running, but only 1 ha DNC endorsement, also with all of this, their funding problems come up again, namely that the DNC is operating in debt atm.

Now notably, during the family separation episode, Trump's approval went up and Republicans went down after the really shitty immigration bills were unveiled. Trump simply needs to make it clear that 2018 will be about immigration and only support candidates that run on an America first platform on immigration.
