I don't think the kids are inherently bad. The issue as I see it are the parents blindly going along with it to not only appease the kid's perception of themselves as the gender they see themselves, but there are societal repercussions of not doing so as ridiculous as it sounds. Use the wrong pronoun or refer to someone with their "dead name", you get torn apart on social media and become criminalized as a bigot. I remember not having sex ed or sensitive issues classes in school until about 6th grade and that's the time I think it would be more appropriate for parents to have serious conversations with kids who feel like they are transgender.
