When I discovered the fuckery going on with the polls myself. I knew in my heart that there was no way that those polls were going with Hillary 8, 10, even up to 20 points ahead, in the weeks leading up to the election. I was following Bill Mitchell, who was saying that they were making errors in their sampling techniques. I checked for myself. Sure enough, in the methodologies of ones I checked, from NBC, CBS, etc., they were oversampling Dems by 7 percentage points or more and undersampling Independents by the same margin sometimes. I couldn't believe what I found, and I posted it, saying, Um, guys, I wouldn't be so sure about this HRC thing. Nobody listened. After the election I posted again about this to pretty much deafening silence all around.
Nobody wants to admit it or talk about it, especially the Fake News, but Independents are the largest voting block by far in the U.S. The breakdown is something like 40% Independents, 35% Democrats, and 23% Republicans. The U.S. has always been a center, center-right country. Obama was a stolen blip on the screen.
