The death cult thing is the best criticism of the effect Christianity can have but it doesn't apply to most Christians. It's true that some people end up obsessing about the afterlife so much that they are in fact just worshipping death. Even though this death worship is not the prevalent view it still infects Christian thought.
The other point against Christianity is the idea that it's a stagnant "slave worldview" all about limiting us with rules. It's true that philosophers shouldn't limit themselves but civilisation and the glory it brings is all about stable rules, any system you develop will have that issue.
