1) They were wandering the house for no reason, the suspect was outside an unarmed.
2) The dog wasn't a real threat.
3) The area behind the dog was not safe, there was a baby behind the dog.
4) The officer didn't even it the fucking dog.
5) The officer didn't call for an ambulance right after firing and hitting the baby with a ricochet.
6) The officer didn't let the parent back into the house when the scene was totally secure.
7) The officer didn't let the mother ride with the child in the ambulance.

This is a classic case of social promotion. The officer clearly didn't have the mental facilities to be in that job.
