The modern left has gone so far into progressivism that anyone with normal logical views now feels on the "right"

I think it's because I moved to the city. Before moving, in the countryside, I didn't mind at all each individual person's "deviations". I wasn't aware either of the indoctrination. Now I see it's a big issue which grows over time. I'm not really happy with my actual beliefs, they don't go with my personality.
I still don't mind the deviations, as long as they are kept private. Endorsing them makes them an infectious disease.

Common belief is that the guy who wrote it worded it in such a way that most people get a left-libertarian bias. One of the questions is some shit like "You should never question authority and should let your betters rule over you" or some shit. Obviously most people are going to disagree with that. Word it as something like "We should listen to the guidance of those with greater expertise than us" and you would have most people agree, even though they're practically the same question (i.e. both would push you equally towards "Authoritarian", not that they have the exact same meaning).
I heard the dude is libertarian so it would make sense.

Remember how there was a study a while back that showed right-wingers could accurately estimate what left-wingers care about while left-wingers could not accurately estimate what right-wingers care about? That's what the political compass does. It takes questions of pretty basic morality, and unless you pick the edgelord option, it's going to categorize you as left-wing. I think most leaders of right-wing populist parties in Europe could take the political compass test and end up in the left-libertarian corner.
Let's examine the questions.

Very first question on the test. If you believe your people are more important than faceless international corporations, even if it's from a nationalist point of view, you've moved your first step to the left.
