The worst part about this is that no matter how much we dehumanize Hitler and nazis, no matter how much we can make ourselves believe it won't happen again because we are better and because 'that's the past', we as humans tend not to care enough for others. Because if you do you research and you put yourself in the shoes of those people, you can't completely say you wouldn't do what they did. I saw a photo a while back and it was of Hitler being a normal person and it made me angry. Hitler went from being a normal person to the most evil person in the world. I don't know how to end this but I think my point was that in order for the past to not repeat itself you don't hide it you share it and that's why it is so important for us to know about the holocaust
