nice, btw are all their tanks looted from SAA or are any brought in from the outside (excluding ISIS bringing tanks from Iraq)?

Looted by the looks of it.

I suspect these will be going to the Tiger Forces though.
It's hilarious, the Tigers are already using the t-55's that they took from Jaish al-Islam in Qalamoun back in April.

KOTEL'D?

To be quite honest ISIS is going to put up 100x more resistance than any "FSA" shits. So might as well let them tire themselves with FSA.

They use everything, but usually the older tanks when storming towns.
T-90's are more valuable at long range thanks to their thermal scopes.

The hell is going on in Teheran?

Do those bridges still exist? The main roads were cut, so why would those be allowed to remain, unless held as bait into killzones.

I asked myself the same question a while ago, but fact is fact, reinforcements from Quneitra recently came to the frontline in eastern Daraa, meaning there's a road.

Weren't those reinforcements destroyed already? If so, they're probably just seeking to draw them out of their fortified towns and into the open. Not like that tiny stretch dirt would be difficult to monitor

I'm posting from the blue area right now. See my flag? What does it say? That's right, Israel.

Soon, the rest of Syria will be Israel too after all the sandniggers kill each other and go back to their homeland, which is Europe and yemen.

>they're probably just seeking to draw them out of their fortified towns and into the open. Not like that tiny stretch dirt would be difficult to monitor
Sure.
Couldn't have been the strategy earlier when there weren't any Russian drones around though.
Maybe you remember when the Republican Guard went for the Air defense battalion s/w of Daraa city and got their asses handed to them. Most likely the FSA put alot of manpower into reclaiming the base because that move threatened their supply line.

Senior Army Commander Martyred in the Southeast: Thunder Corps

A senior Afghan National Army (ANA) Commander lost his life amid ongoing heavy clashes in the southern and eastern parts of the country.

The 203rd Thunder Corps of the Afghan Military in the Southeast said the commander of the Intelligence Kandak of the Thunder Corps Gen. Mohamamd Yaseen Aryan has embraced martyrdom.

The Thunder Corps did not disclose further information regarding the circumstance surrounding the death of Gen. Aryan.

This comes as heavy clashes are underway in certain provinces in the South and East of the country.

The 203rd Thunder Corps said Monday that the Afghan armed forces conducted air and artillery strikes on Zewalat, Tapa Tesha, Warsak, Kharoti, Mashqo village, and Haji Nemat areas in the central parts of the province.

The source further added that at least 27 militants were killed and at least 22 others sustained injuries during the operations.

A Taliban commander identified as Mullah Shafiqullah was among those killed while another Taliban commander Qari Zarif was wounded, the Thunder Corps added.

The statement released by Thunder Corps stated that the air and artillery strikes also resulted into the elimination of several weapons and munitions including a Dshk heavy machine.

US Drone Attack in Northeastern Afghanistan Leaves 11 Dead

Eleven people, including six civilians, have been killed in a US drone attack in northeastern Nuristan province’s Waygal district, an Afghan official said Tuesday.

Hafiz Abdul Qayum, provincial governor, said that six civilians and five Taliban insurgents were killed in the Monday night attack.

Qayum said villagers and Taliban gathered to visit an insurgent wounded in an earlier attack when the house was targeted by the drone, killing both civilians and insurgents.

US forces did not immediately comment on the assault.

In a separate attack in western Farah province Tuesday, an intelligence service official was killed by unknown gunmen, said Mohammad Naser Mehri, spokesman for the provincial governor.

Mehri said the attackers managed to escape and an investigation is underway.

On Sunday, US Pentagon chief James Mattis said there were encouraging signs in Afghanistan for talks between the government and the Taliban after 17 years of fighting.

He pointed to the Taliban's acceptance of a three-day ceasefire offered recently by President Ashraf Ghani.

Although the Taliban turned down a chance to extend the halt, Mattis pointed to the way Taliban fighters joined with government security forces and civilians to break fast on Eid al-Fitr.

"Clearly Ghani has hit a responsive chord," Mattis told reporters.

"Not just on the Afghan national government side, but also it cut deep into the Taliban. We'll see how this goes forward."

During the unprecedented ceasefire, fighters on both sides of the conflict expressed hopes it would continue.
