However, the science of gene modification has already advanced to such an extent that we're able to design organisms to display man-selected traits, and create near-artificial life in laboratories. It would not be unthinkable if the genes for low intelligence, high docility, and high beauty were combined to mass produce live-in domestic servants for the vast majority of the male population, genetically engineered to be obedient fucktoys. They would be reduced to borderline-retardation or below to curb their independence and reduce the chance of them claiming 'rights'. I imagine that, due to consumer demands, they'd only be granted enough intelligence to take care of their basic needs while their owners were away.

Unless those bioengineered bodies would be heavily different from base human beings (and at that level of technological ability, one should be able to go further rather than limiting oneself to creation of retarded humans) they would require high maintenance or would otherwise quickly lose the qualities that make them attractive sex partners. With fully artificial and merely human-like creations whose construction (and thus, complexity and required maintenance/weak points) can be simplified, it's much more practical.
