The Maker Movement is Anti Civilization

The Make Movement- a movement where people use their free time to work outside
their profession- is a continuation of societal collapse.

Civilization exists because we rely on each other's specialization- we trade instead of plunder.

Civilization only continues so long as we continue to depend on each other.

The maker movement will spawn a new generation of hands-on scientists who are not a part of the fake university research paper mill. Also, go rake yourself.

You again?
They laughed at your Hoob-Goobler, didn't they?
Next time, do the math.

So what do we do to stop it

Are you retarded? Only because you can do more than one thing dosent mean you can't specialise in something

yes goy, stay shut in your basement while playing videogames instead of doing something productive

This such an obscure and peripheral "issue" I don't see why anyone should waste time thinking about it.

>You again?
>They laughed at your Hoob-Goobler, didn't they?
What is that

This entire post is idiotic.

This would only be a problem if real life were an RPG where you were essentially immortal & could "max" every single skill.
The best you can actually do is gather a bunch of general knowledge about a wide variety of skills, while only having a "specialist" level of knowledge in, at best, a couple. Which is actually how humanity USED to HAVE to be, on a much wider scale than now. Most now would fucking starve or freeze from inability to provide their own food or clothes if pressed.

The maker movement along with CAD programs and 3D printers, vertical gardening, aquaponics, humanure, jean paine method, kitchen chemistry, rammed earth and a lot of old school trades will lead to a 100 percent independent populace -capable of feeding, clothing, creating and more importantly defending themselves.

This will result in a healthier, happier and smarter people.

In a word the U.S. would be indomitable.

Also, fuck off kike.

Why do you post this at least once a day?
Pic not related to your retardation.

Show me an example of a 'maker' causing a tangible negative effect on an industry

Alright give me a quick rundown on how I can get into 3D printing as cheaply as possible

>Alright give me a quick rundown on how I can get into 3D printing as cheaply as possible
You don't

Can you not replicate the parts for a 3D printer with a 3D printer?

Can't believe this meme exists

>learning skills is bad because we rely on other peoples skills
