What does Jow Forums think of Dan White

If you don't know who Dan White he was a member of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors who murdered San Francisco Mayor George Moscone and Supervisor Harvey Milk, on Monday, November 27, 1978, at City Hall. In a controversial verdict that led to the coining of the legal slang "Twinkie defense", White was convicted of manslaughter rather than murder in the deaths of Milk and Moscone. White served five years of a seven-year prison sentence. Less than two years after his release he returned to San Francisco and committed suicide.

i guess you dont care

Cool

i still live in sf. foggy tonight

Sweet

He behaved like a typical, fucked-up San Franciscan.

>killed a faggot

good man.

He liked twinkies but not twinks.

keks

Why did he kill himself?

Dan White unknowingly gave America Dianne Feinstein.

I remember when I first heard about this ( i was a kid) I thought how terrible they let him go. Looking back on it, he did nothing wrong.

It's terrible what happened to him. He seemed like a good man.

He killed 2 communists. He's okay.

We might be related user. Post your address

If only he knew the second-hand evil he would cause...not only did Mascone's assassination thrust president-of-the-board Feinstein into the big office, her proximity to the event made her extremely anti-gun rights and it's been one of her pet issues ever since.

big ole bump

are you still in this thread, user.
i'd love to ask you a few questions.

holy shit, the story of Dan White ties EVERTHING in that city (at that time) together...that murder's effects still ripple across the surface of the present day.

>feinstein's career takes off
>feinstein involved with the people's temple and jim jones
>feinstein has interactions with kudlow, jones' attorney.
>who left the window open?

>was dan on the phone with diane earlier that day?
>what did they discuss?

this story is dynamite, anons...all swept under the rug.

jim jones was a political heavy weight in san fran. jim was responsible for harvey milk's career (and possibly his murder).

>unknowingly
kek

this was a hit...plain and simple.

white made a deal (he was broke).
it's not easy to get close enough to kill the mayor of a major metro.

> be family man
> befriend negroes in the project, get them to shill for you
> rise to political success
> resign from board of supervisors
> ask mayor to un-resign you
> “no”
> heh... nothin personnel... cis white male - t. Harvey Milk, dude who now has your job
> autism intensifies
> murder both dudes
> confess
> ‘‘twas the twinkies that gave him the tism”
> get out early, whole town hates you
> become an hero after making be men you killed actual heroes

It seems pretty cut and dry that White did the worst possible thing which was lose his cool instead of continuing to play the politics game.

the murder consolidated the power circle that still runs the city today.
willie brown is part of the crew.

jim jones kept his network intact whilst shootin up coke, sodomizing & being sodomized and conducting an intelligence operation in guyana.

they don't like to talk about it now, but jones was a major political figure in the city. everyone went to his church...jim recruited the homos because he was a homo.

again, he literally made harvy milk as a politician.

jim also maintained a hit squad.

Please redpill me more on this or at least point me in the right direction on some of this shit, I’ve never heard any of this before and I’ve always been fascinated by cults and the like

i would google harvey milk and jim jones and dan white together.

it's a freaky story.

diane feinstein did her last minute barnstorming in S & M clubs...i kid you not. walked right in and pitched her platform.

i'm really hoping his cousin is still in here.
i'm certain some of the things i'd like to learn were known in the immediate family.

The City Hall shootings took place a mere 9 days after the Jonestown massacre. The timing was incredibly bizarre, especially since Milk and Moscone were essentially elected thanks to Jim Jones' extensive political network.

Also worth noting that it wasn't the "twinkie defense" alone that led to such a light sentence for Dan White. The prosecution was unable to muster much sympathy for the serial adulterer Moscone and promiscuous homosexual Milk due to their thoroughly corrupt personal and political lives.

I always felt bad for White's widow and children. He was a much better man than any of the assholes in City Hall until the moment he pulled the trigger.

I highly recommend the book "Double Play" by Mike Weiss. It provides crucial insight into Dan White's mindset leading up to the killings. White comes off as fairly sympathetic to anyone who deplores the queering, browning, and communizing of S.F. Milk comes off like a duplicitous scumbag and homosexual offender in contrast to the hagiographical approach typified by 1984's "The Times of Harvey Milk".

do you believe diane opened that window for dan?
that's the rumor i heard.
she definitely benefited from both those deaths.
leo ryan was no friend of hers either.
look, jim jones was crazy...no doubt about that...but ryan's death sure seems like a hit to me.
those were not the first people to leave jones town. and as savvy of an operator as the madman was, he definitely knew that assassinating a congressman would certainly set the thing he supposedly dreaded into motion.

and it cannot be ignored that jones had ties to the Agency.

the theology of the people's temple was exactly what the sjws stand for today.
racial 'equality'
homo stuff
socialism

i may check out that book.

Moscone and Milk's deaths were part of the cleanup to the Jonestown mess. They weren't the only ones on the hit list, though. White didn't finish the job so he ended up having to do a few years. He didn't commit suicide, either. He was hiding in Ireland, but they popped him when he came to visit. Nobody committed suicide at Jonestown either, incidentally.

so i'll ask you...do you think diane opened the window for dan?

No idea. It would make sense.
