The armed forces lacks in numbers and there is not rendundandacy in many sectors ( most notably artillery, heavy vehicles such ad tanks). Overall many segments of the armed forces have been involved in missions (afghanistan lebanon, Iraq). The armed forces have a certain grip in asymmetric warfare but given the lack of hardwares I doubt se would do much in a war of friction.
