I am sympathetic to some of the aims of right wing causes, but I don't understand the particular hate for immigrants coming from Mexico. In my experience, Hispanic immigrants are some of the hardest working people I've ever seen in my life. They work hard, for low wages, and pay taxes. They tend to be an honest sort that just wants to do manual labor and provide for their families. I find it odd that the current American right wing has chosen them as one of their primary concerns. I get the dislike for mass immigration from Islamic countries, but Mexican immigrants are for the most part hard working, tax paying and peaceful. Not to mention American needs more workers to feel these jobs (elderly care, trash collecting, plumbing) so the cost of living doesn't skyrocket due to lack of these services.

Not sure if bait, but I'll bite. If you have no public services, free movement of labor is a possibility because the market will only sustain a certain amount of people. With public services though, people migrate to exploit native populations. They are able to work those low wages because your taxes support them. You are paying outsiders to make it difficult for your own people to live. Plus all of these outsiders need a place to live, which raises the cost of living to the natives.

Immigrating to the US legally is exceedingly difficult. You need to be highly skilled or have immediate relatives with citizenship in the US. In all likelihood, you would not be able to immigrate to the US legally. As for Mexican remittances back home, I don't see how it's an issue. It doesn't diminish America's productive capacity in any way. And if I understand exchange markets correctly, those Mexicans who receive those remittances need to exchange those dollars for pesos or directly buy American goods and services.

Have you ever been to Los Angeles, South Phoenix or any major border towns with large Mexican populations? Wherever these people go, they bring their culture with them, and that culture is shit. While they can subsist off of pennies compared to average American salaries, that necessitates that they live in ghettos. This is terrible understanding of economics. Labor is not homogenous. If labor inputs are sufficiently different, it makes sense to think of them as separate inputs in production. If immigrant labor and native-born labor are complements in production, immigration would in fact increase wages and employment opportunities for native-born labor.
