I smoked for 9 years from age 16 to 25, I quit two months ago and I have zero regrets. Weed should just be a phase, then you have to focus on career and eventually family, all weed does is make you complacent and happy with what you have.

Hmm, I started using edibles about 3 months ago. I’ve quit smoking/vaping since then, quit drinking (was alcoholic tier), am getting my finances in order and I am quitting my job in the service industry once the tourism season is over and probably undertaking a new career/training.

If anything low level pot use has helped me out. It definitely got me away from booze which kept me complacent and numb yet sober enough to figure out a new path in life.

That's a nice anecdote, but you can't apply that to everyone.
There are also people who manage to be functional members of society when they have an outlet like weed. I know several people who have been just depressed human wrecks, but got their shit together after they discovered weed.

I'm not saying your average healthy person would benefit from it, but it can be helpful to people with issues. At the very least, it's a better alternative than turning to alcohol, which I've never seen being beneficial to anyone.
