After WW2, he served in the Norwegian Home Guard for several decades as an officer and instructor. He questioned the immigration policies of Norway which allowed for “hundreds of thousands to flow into Norway unhindered” and because of his views on immigration he was forced to resign from the Home Guard. In 2013 he was discharged because he was still a member of FMI.
FMI stands for “Folkebevegelsen mot innvandring”, in English “Popular movement against immigration”. Jan Hoeg has been very active in the organization and is the vice-president and spokesman. He, a resistance fighter, has been accused for being a racist, nazi and whatnot because of his position in the organization. Many people, all of whom socialists, have called him in the middle of the night threatening to kill him and burn his home down.
