You new kids need to realize that keywords and ohrasing alone can preclude you from ever having success. You must write on laper or on devices never connected to the internet. Sharing your work lrior to completion and identity masking is suicide, others can and will steal from you if it has value of any kind. If it does not you can still be extorted by your own stories.
Only women (and very beta males) engage in this kind of "sharing" of literature. Go look at the National Novel Writing Month forums if you want to see where this leads.

Only the reader matters. If women are not reading your female character then just write her as a man until you get comfortable enough to go back and edit her into something more plausible.

You need to get comfortable with your own voice. No emulation. The issue with "socialization" of literature is that you end up creating nothing while listening to everyone else. This is why women are such awful artists, as a rule of thumb. Collectivism will taint your work with the crust of corporate panspermia.
It can take years and years to truly understand your voice and vision. You mustn't allow others to decide for you. Consider that most people dont wrote anything worth a damn until their 30s.
That said my poetry was awful years ago.
I would advise you to ease away from prose and into the conceptual. Everybody has a different process. I have to put my mind into a separate state in order to write poetic prose at all. A state of mania, in a sense.
Conceptual may be the wrong word here. Maybe concrete is a better term.
There are painters who make beautiful abstract art, and others who can only paint mountains. Both have value, but the mountain painter may romanticize the abstract artist and vice versa.
You need to focus on what it is you want to say as a human being. Your reader is to be controlled by you, you should not seek their input or acceptance in any way.
The reader is a "woman" who does not yet realize your worth but you will become her world for a time.

Im working on one now in about 20 years in future. World economies collapsed, america with self sufficient and higher % domestic GDP relatively unaffected. EU dissolves. China collapse triggered string of bank/economy crashes. Canada housing bubble takes couple banks down and hyper inflation destroys country (venezula/greece-like). Half population of foreigners mass exodus to America. Mexicans complete the flip of Texas and Florida to permanent democrat states ending Republican party overnight when white population falls below 50%. Present day is 400 million population and whites at 35% range.
Follows white protag canadian that left for america before collapse fleeing socialism and "dviersity". Follows his work in financial sector of democratic socialist ruled america. They have free healthcare, UBI, and even social credit program like china present day. Social justice rules. He goes through life conforming to socialism and hating himself and the world he lives in.
He worries more and more about having enough soc cred to ride subways and use AI self driving cars and so on. He is passed over on promotions multiple times despite highest output and multiple white papers implemented in company. His most recent white paper for restructuring and merit based "equality" will propel company to massive profits and industry leader if implemented. Restructures to meet gender and diversity quotas by putting less deserving in menial positions and so on. Guranteed promotion in his eyes. He loses job and reported to government for hate laws and his soc cred collapses.
Contrasts world events with his mood and internal views on social justice/socialism through interactions at work and public with coworkers. The outright racism against him and whites encouraged in media and spoken freely by his diverse 'friends'. Degeneracy of movies, public pride and so on.
Im thinking 1984 with an Atlas Shrugged-like flow (not as long or forced philosphy though).

Be careful how much you reveal about your stories and yourself. There will be people who try to find your novel based on these descriptors and in Canada you will be targeted by less than sane and only partially human intellects.
I have kept all of my terminology, verbiage and ideas off the internet in any form for 18 years now. This is significant since just about all I talk about IRL is my ideas.
Because of how I have done things, I am a complete ghost. Do not give up your social dignity for a little bit of acceptance. Always be careful.
