Is anybody interesting in making a German Drudge Report? Just call it Deutsch Report, I have a website template already created via HTML and I bought a domain like last year, but I'm really lazy and don't read much German news (since I'm in the US) if I had a partner it would be very easy. I am going to go out on a limp here, but this problem was recognized by the CSU sun king Franz Josef Strauß back in the 70s already. The CDU is not competing against the CSU in Bavaria in federal and state elections, but they have never been enough to rule. This meant either a grant coaltion with the SPD or one with the liberal FDP.
FJS complained about this all the time, that the CSU had to secure the outmost rightish position in Bavaria. But he know that the CDU/CSU would need another right wing partner on the federal level to have a right of center coaltion. It never came to pass and of course anything to the right of Merkel is Hitler.
But the thing is that Merkel has demolished the party severly over two decades by kicking out all potential rivals in the CDU and fostering loyal following by office appointment. The conservative awakening (or whatever those cucks calls themselves today) will have to cleanse the party, but that will happen, just as it happened after Kohl. Then who knows? The new cadre might open for support on the right flank?
Tonight, in the next few hours the CSU will either win or perish.
If Seehofer leaves office, submits to Merkels will or asks yet again for more time, their popularity will crumble and the voters will choose AfD over CSU.

Even if the goverment would work, there'd be nothing to do. Ther german army is in worse shape then after '45, literally nothing works properly, serverly undermaned and the few that are in it are either bootlickers or spineless followers.

He already lost political power last year when he was forced to give up the position of Prime Minister of Bavaria and hand it over to his rival, Söder. Simply leaving the government is not an option, since he would lose his power in the party awell. Apparently the current status is that he offered to resign, however it seems to be a ruse to gain support for his course
