That was liberals 70 years ago. Today, liberals only use the party as a platform for hate speech and agenda pushing. Modern day liberals have completely abandoned the principles which once made them respected. Liberals decades ago didn't give a single fuck about lgbt rights or feminism and was more about Man vs. Government.

Liberalism is a very good thing, but, unfortunately, leftists today have hijacked the term and now use it to refer to themselves, when, in fact, many of them aren't liberal in the slightest.

I also wish people would stop using "liberal" as an insult, because being a liberal is a very good thing: it means you fight for liberty (along with some other ideas). Always refer to todays leftists using correct terms: "leftist", or "left-wing authoritarian", or "egalitarian authoritarian", but not "liberal", because that term is too good for them.
