Russia spent 100k for 3200 facebook ads, and only 100 of them showed Donald Trump in a positive light. So they spent roughly a few thousand dollars on pro Trump ads. In comparison the Trump campaign spent 90 million dollars on digital advertisements, which were more strategically placed for maximum effectiveness. Nobody who does any kind of marketing would honestly believe that 100 shirty ads on facebook had any meaningful effect on the election.

As for wikileaks being an arm of Russia which purposely leaked negative material related to Hillary Clinton To Help Trump win...well first you're an idiot if you believe that, and second there's literally zero evidence of such a claim.

First he said "Russia hacked the election" - I said no. Then he said "ok but they influenced the election" - I asked how they did so. He said through bot accounts. I asked how, again. He couldn't think of how.

I suggested that there were some Russian accounts posting trump memes but you can't prove the level of influence nor can you compare it to literally hacking the voting booths to increase/lower counts.

Then he said I watch too much Fox News and Infowars (I don't watch either). You can't win, it's their narrative and they're running with it until CNN tells them what to believe in next.
