Tbh, cities themselves are sort of by definition bad. You should visit the countryside and only use the cities as hubs for transportation. Go hiking in the mountains, kayaking in the fjords etc

Been steadily declining since "the financial crisis" in 2008. It's down to almost 1.6 now. I would say that for people in their early 30s, it's more rare to have kids than to not have kids. It also feels like it's usually the woman who do not want kids, not the men.

Having fewer kids however might not be a huge problem though as long as people still have some kids. Economic growth has almost always been based on the net loss of a generation, where the bill has been handed on to the next generation. As long as the population keeps growing, this is made possible as your children can pay for your mistakes. With the planet being as fucked up as it is right now, hopefully this cycle will end with our generation, where we will be the first responsible generation to actually try to not pass on more shit to the next generation.

As long as the population does not drop below 3-4 million we should be fine.

However a lot of people here in Norway also share that sentiment, but at the moment they do not seem to be in majority.

I do not know why swedes are like this, but if I could hazard a guess, I would guess that swedish media is behind it. They do not really get any proper news of what happens in the countries around them, and we actually have had better coverage of "problematic" events in Sweden here in Norway than they get in swedish media.
