Being that our representations of God must surely be different, and that these representations exist entirely within our own mind, I would argue that they are not the same God. They may be based on the same framework, but different interpretations and experiences will inevitably lead to wildly different pictures of God.

The only reasonable course is to believe what you think is true, and be happy with your own truth. Always be aware, however, that your truth is true to you alone, and cannot be foisted upon others. God is with us all, in whatever form we may choose to accept.
