HotD still had a social hierarchy consistent with natural order and traditional nations/cultures but yeah not toppest of tier. Still enjoyed just because it was easy to watch and you didn't have to keep up with the plot every 10 seconds. OS old but good imo, plot wasn't too far out there but it brought in a lot of Taoist principles like Cowboy Bebop which is very traditional.
