I always thought a miniseries that was true to the books would be entertaining. I honestly like the second book more than the second movie. It’s been forever since I read the first book, but most of the character dynamics are different in the book, Alan Grant in good with kids in the book, no romance implication between Ellie and Alan. Muldoon and Genaro survive. Malcom has to be retconned back to life for the second book, I think there are newer editions of Jurassic Park that change a few paragraphs to reflect that.
